dear ian,
is spitbol stuffed. there seems to be a feeling amongst the masses that
this is the case. my version of the solution to the 3rd snobol assignment
violates its segment (no matter how hard i try)
    this is disturbing.
    				yours in anticipation

Ian,
I still have this problem of a snobol program causing a
segmentation violation. It is repeatable, so if you are interested,
(and have time) you might like to look in %7719736/sno/bug (a directory).
Here you will find:
	bugwtrace - the offending program
bugwotrace - the offending program with the statement:
			"	&ftrace = 1000"
removed - it does NOT blow up!
difference - the above removed statement
ass3.a - this file must be present for either of the above programs
		 to run.
err5 - the test file worked on by the above programs, it is an
infinite nested #include. The program blows up on the
".input(..." statement on the allocation of the 11th
		file descriptor.
	Thank you for your attention,
		Michael Rourke.
